There is pretty much everything you need to know on this one site.

Like you, I would be wanting to operate like a real railway. I'd concluded that track power was out of the question (my garden has lots of trees), and I've been disappointed to see videos of live steam goods trains belting around gardens at speeds which might turn Mallard green with envy.

But then I ran across one of your Peckforton videos on You Tube. "How," I wondered, "does he get that level of control?" I followed the link to this site and now I've been here for days!

Thank you for taking so much trouble!Nigel Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13910403264324464868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26391908.post-4789481016101627672012-04-04T18:48:24.002+00:002012-04-04T18:48:24.002+00:00I'm glad you've found the blog interesting...I'm glad you've found the blog interesting and useful. I'm not sure how much track I've used so far. I tended to buy it as and when I needed it. I tended to buy the longest lengths I could (6ft (LGB) or 8ft (Aristo) to keep the number of joints to a minimum. I'd guess there's around 320ft of track overall.GE Rikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01825168874175339847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26391908.post-74715360960656729052012-03-05T01:36:46.560+00:002012-03-05T01:36:46.560+00:00Just found this site and I must say thank you than...Just found this site and I must say thank you thank you 1000 times thank you. :)

I'm learning so much...

One question I have for ya...nHow much track are you using on your labor of love?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
